The fabric is made from pure cotton. Buckwheat husks have been used by Asian cultures for centuries to support wellbeing.

According to Asian teachings, the healthiest condition of the body is called "Su-Kann-Soku-Netsu", meaning a cool head and warm feet. When these elements fall out of balance, the body itself is considered out of balance.

Buckwheat husks keep the head cool and support it during sleep. This helps relax the neck so that you wake feeling refreshed.

You can also use the cushion during the day. It may additionally be cooled in the refrigerator, but should then be protected against moisture with a plastic cover.
