History
- Company founded by Alexander Weltecke in Soest.
- Granting of the manufacturing authorisation for medicinal products.
- Company taken over by current Managing Director Volker Schaefer and moved to Hamm.
- Integration of Georg Mittag GmbH & Co. KG and expansion of the product portfolio by 30 additional quality products under the Regulato brand.
- Organic certification granted under the EU organic directive.
- Launch of the successful Weltecke Alkaline Balance concept.
- Start of cultivating an organic growing area (olive grove) in Apulia, Italy.
- Commissioning of an 80.5 kWp photovoltaic system: own consumption is covered and surplus power is fed into the local grid.
- Construction of a second warehouse.
- Construction of a fourth warehouse for the interim storage of packaging materials. The warehouse consists largely of renewable raw materials and was built in a carbon-neutral way.

From selection to processing
From the selection and processing of raw materials, through the composition of active ingredients and gentle filling, to the special storage of finished products: Weltecke's extensive in-house laboratory controls and complete documentation at every production stage ensure the highest quality and effectiveness of our products.
Our raw material purchasing
is based on ecologically responsible criteria, according to which we also carefully select growers and suppliers in the countries of origin.
Our production
takes place exclusively in Germany and underpins the quality promise "Made in Germany".
Our in-house laboratory
guarantees continuous quality control and fulfils the high legal standards required of a medicinal product and organic manufacturer. Quality assurance has the highest priority, because health allows no compromises.
Our in-house sewing workshop
sees itself as a manufactory and uses only fabrics such as pure, natural cotton.
Our trial fields
are cultivated with rare plants in order to improve the quality of plant-based raw materials, preserve traditional recipes and safeguard them for the long term.

Sustainability
More than 70 years ago, Alexander Weltecke founded his company.
Selling high-quality products in harmony with nature was one of his guiding principles from the very beginning. We continue this philosophy to this day:
Our range includes only natural remedies and teas. Our sewing workshop uses only natural cotton. Naturally, we do without environmentally harmful techniques, chemicals and auxiliaries, and we pay close attention to compliance with social criteria in the production of fabrics.
The observance of these principles is sealed and documented by the organic certificate, the manufacturing authorisation for medicinal products and the wholesale authorisation.
With the certificate of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), we also commit ourselves to the responsible use of forests in line with the social, economic and ecological needs of present and future generations. With our woodland in Heessen-Dasbeck, a district of Hamm, we put these principles into practice consistently: the company's CO2 balance is significantly improved by the stock of trees, felling and planting are kept in sustainable balance, and we also use the harvested wood to heat our own ovens. Naturally, the consumption of conventional energy sources is also significantly reduced.
Finally, since 2014 we have operated a photovoltaic system with an output of 80.5 kWp. This not only covers our own energy needs; we also feed the surplus into the local electricity grid. In this way, we carry Alexander Weltecke's guiding principle of sustainability and environmental protection consistently into the 21st century.

As a GMP- and organic-certified company, we also hold the official authorisation to manufacture medicinal products and have been commissioned by various companies for many years to provide the following contract manufacturing services:

- Pressing tablets from powders, herbs, granules, etc.

We have the necessary flexibility to produce both smaller quantities and larger volumes to the highest quality standards.
