The cherry stone bag is an age-old Swiss household remedy. The cherry stones in our cherry stone bag are air-dried and 100% untreated.

Because completely dry cherry stones absorb heat and release it specifically to the affected areas of the body, the organic cherry stone bag can be used like a 'dry' hot water bottle. That means it can be heated in the oven (up to max. 150 °C; if less heat is needed, it can also be placed on a radiator). However, the cherry stone bag is not suitable for the microwave. It is also excellent as a cold compress: simply place it in the freezer or refrigerator. To protect it from moisture, it should only be put in the freezer or refrigerator inside a plastic bag.

The cherry stone bag can also be used as a positioning aid or, in a smaller format, for finger and foot massage, particularly when the aim is to restore mobility through targeted massage or to stimulate it in children.

One of the advantages of the cherry stone bag is that it retains heat or cold for longer than a conventional hot water bottle or cold compress. Another advantage is that it cannot leak.

For hygiene reasons, the cherry stone bag can be fitted with a cover (as thin as possible). Alexander Weltecke offers covers in sizes 25 x 25 cm and 30 x 40 cm in various patterns.
