Hypersensitivity to hawthorn.
Precautions for use and warnings
If water retention occurs in the ankles or legs, if there is pain in the region of the heart that may radiate into the arms, upper abdomen or neck, or if shortness of breath occurs, immediate medical evaluation is essential.
Children and adolescents: Due to insufficient data, use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age is not recommended.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding: Safety during pregnancy and breastfeeding has not been sufficiently investigated. Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding is therefore not recommended.

Dosage / Method of administration
Loose tea / Filter bag: Pour 150 ml of boiling water over 1-2 g (1 full teaspoon / 1-2 tea bags) of cut hawthorn leaves with blossoms, cover and, if desired, strain through a tea sieve after about 10-15 minutes or leave to infuse. Daily dose: 1 cup 3-4 times daily, maximum 6 g / 6 tea bags.
Duration of use
If complaints persist for longer than 4 weeks, recur periodically or worsen, a doctor must be consulted.
