Indications
Traditional internal use for flushing the urinary tract as supportive treatment for mild urinary complaints. This use is based on the product's long-standing traditional use.
Composition
Horsetail herb
Method of administration
For drinking after preparing a tea infusion.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to horsetail herb. Water retention (oedema) due to impaired heart and/or kidney function. Recommended reduction of fluid intake because of existing medical conditions.
Dosage / Method of administration
Loose tea / Filter bag: Pour 150 ml of boiling water over 1-4 g (1-4 teaspoons / tea bags) of cut horsetail herb and, if desired, strain through a tea sieve after about 10-15 minutes or leave to infuse.
Drink 1 cup of the infusion 3-4 times daily. A total of 12 g per day should not be exceeded. Ensure an additional plentiful intake of fluids.
Duration of use
Do not use for longer than 2-4 weeks.
Side effects
Mild gastrointestinal complaints may occur.
