Millet is the collective term for small-grained cereals belonging to the grass family. It is one of the oldest cultivated cereals known to humankind and was already used around 8,000 years ago.
Although it is often seen only as bird feed today, millet has far more to offer and still forms part of the staple diet in some regions of Africa.
The filling is distributed across four separate chambers, ensuring that the grains cover the entire surface even when the cushion is used in different positions.
The cushion is best heated in the oven at a maximum of 150 °C. If less heat is required, it can also be placed on a radiator.
It can also be used as a cold compress by cooling it in the refrigerator or freezer. To prevent it from becoming damp, it should be protected in the refrigerator with a plastic cover.
The millet used for Weltecke's millet cushion comes 100% from certified organic cultivation.
