Organic Cistus incanus from the Mediterranean region is highly valued as a soothing tea.

Small twigs and leaves of the cistus plant, also known as rock rose, are ground to produce cistus tea. Although its blossoms resemble those of the wild rose, cistus is not related to the rose but belongs to the cistus family.

The cistus shrub is known for its striking pink-red blossoms and thrives in the warm Mediterranean climate.
