Organic quality

We use only organic-certified cistus herb from certified organic cultivation. The herbs are then filled in Germany under strict quality controls - completely without the addition of artificial flavours, colourings or sugar.

Organic Cistus Incanus from the Mediterranean region is very popular as a soothing tea.

Small twigs and leaves of the cistus plant (also known as rock rose or cistus rose) are ground and processed into cistus tea. Although the blossoms of the cistus shrub resemble those of the wild rose, cistus is not related to the rose. It belongs to the cistus family. The cistus shrub, with its striking pink blossoms, thrives in the warm Mediterranean climate.

Method of administration

For drinking after preparing a tea infusion.

Dosage / Method of administration

Loose tea: Pour boiling water (approx. 150 ml) over about 1 teaspoon (approx. 2-2.5 g) of Cistus incanus and strain through a tea sieve after about 3-5 minutes.

Filter bag: Pour boiling water (approx. 150 ml) over 1 tea bag and leave to infuse for about 3-5 minutes.

The maximum daily intake is 3 g.
