Traditional internal use to support the treatment of nervous restlessness and sleep disturbances, to relieve temporary mental exhaustion and to relieve mild gastrointestinal complaints.
These uses are based exclusively on the product's long-standing traditional use in the stated areas of application.

For drinking after preparing a tea infusion.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to St John's wort.
Precautions for use and warnings
Avoid intensive UV exposure such as tanning beds or prolonged sunbathing while using this product.
Use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age is not recommended due to insufficient data.
Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding is not recommended because safety has not been sufficiently investigated.
Interactions with other medicines
When the maximum daily dose is observed and the duration of use does not exceed 2 weeks, no interactions are expected. Patients taking other medicinal products should consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.
Dosage / Method of administration
Adults including the elderly:
For nervous restlessness and sleep disturbances: Pour boiling water (150 ml) over 1.5-2 g (1 teaspoon) of St John's wort tea and strain through a tea sieve after about 10 minutes. Drink 1 cup once or twice daily in the morning and evening.
For temporary mental exhaustion: Prepare 1.5-2 g in the same way and drink 1 cup 2-3 times daily.
For mild gastrointestinal complaints: Pour boiling water over 2 g (1 heaped teaspoon), strain after about 10 minutes and drink 1 cup twice daily.
Loose tea: Prepare as described above.
Filter bag: Pour boiling water (150 ml) over 2 tea bags and leave to infuse for about 10 minutes.
Duration of use
Nervous restlessness, sleep disturbances and mental exhaustion: if complaints persist for longer than 2 weeks or worsen, a doctor must be consulted.
Mild gastrointestinal complaints: if complaints persist for longer than one week or worsen, a doctor must be consulted.
Side effects
Gastrointestinal disorders, hypersensitivity reactions of the skin, tiredness and restlessness may occur. In people with fair skin, strong sun exposure can trigger increased sunburn-like symptoms.
